Instructional Assistant - Inglewood
Position: Instructional Assistant – Special Education
Location: Inglewood, CA

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals who are eager to make a profound difference in a school-based setting as a Teacher’s Aide (Instructional Assistant).
Compensation: $18 - $21 per hour, depending on experience
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, during daytime school hours
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of college courses or degree is a plus.

Key Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Strong proficiency in English, including grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension.
- Basic understanding of mathematics.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Physically fit enough to maintain an active role in the classroom and playground.
- Previous experience working with children.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide instructional support.
- Assist teachers in managing students’ behavior.
- Support students 1:1 or as a group in a special education classroom.
- Develop and implement engaging learning opportunities for students in grades K-12.
- Assist students in following classroom routines and tasks while increasing their independence.
- Help with essential self-help skills, such as toileting and hygiene.
- Supervise students during classroom and outdoor activities.
- Prepare students for mainstream classes according to established procedures.
- Manage educational equipment and assigned materials responsibly.
Experience with children with special needs is desired, but not a requirement. We believe in empowering our team members with the skills they need to succeed. Therefore, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and prepared to make a meaningful contribution to our students' academic journey.
